A couple brought me gold coins and jewelry from both of their families. I melted those separate items into two simple planished bands. Through the process the materials became inextricably linked, the union of the materials mirroring the union of humans. Forged through fire the materials are forever one. May the marriage they symbolize be enduring. These studs are a small remnant of that material.
