This installation consisted of hardbound books and pippins(pippins are apple trees planted from seed that have enitrely new genetic characteristics making them novel trees). The hardbound books covered in white fabric represent general wisdom alongside books written by Michael Pollan that represent the specific knowledge used to inform and inspire the exhibition. The pippins embody my commitment to the preservation of biodiversity and appreciation for those who have helped me along the way. The pippins are named after people who were instrumental in the inspiration, planning and execution of this project.
