I make contraptions, mechanical inventions born of my environment and imagination. The space I inhabit has entered into my psyche and therefore my work. Curiosity compels me to create the devices delineated in my mind.

These contraptions include; “Aesthetic Aquaponics” intended to display, through the use of sumptuous materials, the value and beauty I see in the system of aquaponics. I have continued with this theme of elevating food and agriculture through craftsmanship with “Feed the People” and “The Eternal Spork”.

I believe life is to be lived aesthetically, joy is to be found in everything. There is alchemy and beauty in turning sheet copper into a ladle, in crafting grapes into wine, the beauty of transformation. This is how we can create elevated experiences in our everyday life and connect to human minds and human hands throughout time.
